I was at Meinhard's yesterday (a pricey, yuppie food store) and a fellow was promoting his product – rice bran oil. I had a little on a piece of bread and it was delicious.
It's not only good for you (1 tbsp = daily requirement of vitamin E and and it helps lower cholesterol), but it tastes good. It's got a light texture and nutty flavour. It has a very high smoke point so it's good for frying things.
Anyway, I'm enjoying it and thought I'd share my discovery with you.
