She comes with a variety of attachments and a 5-foot power cord. She does everything from (puree) soup to (chop) nuts. I first was introduced to a this implement when I visited Laura in Germany. European kitchens are very small so the cooking tools have to be small and multi-functional.
Last year Paul and Krista and I were in a kitchen store when I spotted The Viking. I held it longingly in my arms and dreamed of the great things we could do together. I handed it to Paul and said, “I'll bet this would make a great gift.” Then I went and stood in the corner, my back to the checkout. After all, I do love surprises.
We’ve been together in a solid relationship ever since.

I should get a chopping attachment. At this point, I don't even have a kitchen, but it would be nice to have something that resembles a food processor.
ReplyDeleteI burned out the engine on the old one, but the one you got me as a gift is still going strong. I use it to make smoothies all the time, and also to make cookie dough and puree soups, but you made an interesting aoili in yours, didn't you?
